CORE 6

CORE Trial

Current user's can download CORE 6 here.

The CORE product suite provides a comprehensive software environment that manages and leverages the power derived from seamless integration of the classical systems domains: requirements management, behavior, architecture synthesis, and verification and validation. Combined with a model-based methodology, this unique design approach enables in-depth analysis and insight impossible to achieve using traditional multi-tool environments and stovepiped processes.

The CORE 6 release introduces innovative new capabilities that enable even stronger analysis and enrich the overall design experience. From new diagrams and project management features to expanded supporting documentation, the CORE 6 release provides a feature set that will enhance project visibility, control, team communication and collaboration - all presented in perfect harmony designed to deliver project success.

Utilize SysML Views and Other Enhanced Representations

Core 6 supports three of the most utilized SysML diagrams - Activity, Sequence, and Requirements Diagrams. Leveraging CORE's integrated model-based approach delivering guaranteed consistency, move seamlessly between representations based upon your needs. Draw an activity diagram to capture behavior, view the corresponding sequence diagram to observe the flow of control, open an IDEF0 to analyze interfaces, and execute the model using COREsim - all with the click of a button. Use the Interface Block Diagram to illustrate the critical nature of physical interfaces. Bring richness to your analysis working in the views best suited to the task, and deliver results in a format tailored to the needs of your customer.

Comprehensive Versioning

CORE 6 introduces an integrated, automated versioning capability that provides for a comprehensive understanding of database evolution. Quickly review the design history for elements. See which team member made a given change, when, and most importantly - what the nature of the change was. Compare versions and restore a prior value with a single click.

New reports leverage the power of version management. Identify changes made to user-selected elements from any point in the past. Compare the differences between two projects (or a project and its baseline).

New and Improved Documentation and Support

CORE 6 updates our dynamic, integrated discrete-event simulation capability with detailed documentation to enable users to take full advantage of the comprehensive analysis this vehicle provides. Follow this up with one of the online, topic-specific tutorials available on the Vitech website. Register for one of the hosted weekly webinar events. Leverage the new content on the updated website. All of these pieces and more have been developed with the end-user in mind, with an emphasis on increased productivity and understanding.

Tailor the Representation to the Challenge - or the Audience

CORE delivers SysML support alongside traditional diagrams providing total flexibility and interoperability in selecting the optimal representations to develop and communicate your system design. The integrated system repository ensures that all diagrams represent the latest design details, allowing users to focus on the inspiration of development rather than the tedium of manually managing view consistency.

CORE 6 delivers the ability to:

  • Track Changes to Element Attributes

  • CORE 6 provides detailed information regarding who has made changes, when they were made, and what the specific changes entail.

  • Maintain Control over Project Configuration

  • CORE supports easy viewing of previous versions of element attributes, allowing quick reinstatement as desired.

  • Provide Project Status

  • CORE compares current work against the project baseline at any time and documents comparisons with previously captured baselines.

  • Support Configuration Authentication

  • CORE requires appropriate CORE user privileges to Read/Write/Purge an element's history.

  • Ensure Configuration Security

  • CORE provides detailed information for audit reviews.

  • Derive Insight from New Representations

  • CORE utilizes several new diagrams to illustrate the critical nature of system interfaces.

  • Maximize Current Features

  • CORE 6 combines new documentation and support collateral designed to increase understanding and utility of the rich feature set present in the tool.
