CORE2net Web Server

A separately licensed component of the CORE Enterprise Server, CORE2net turns your CORE Enterprise system into a Web server. CORE2net queries the current information contained in the CORE system definition repository allowing design changes and the current design state to be shared in real-time. CORE2net enables inter- and intra-team collaboration at the Enterprise level with the ability to set up appropriate access permissions; authorized team members simply log into the project website using a Web browser such as Microsoft Internet Explorer® or Netscape Navigator®. Engineers no longer need to be co-located in order to participate in a design effort. Managers and other reviewers can access their data in familiar formats (tabular, graphical, and hyperlinked).

With the advent of CORE2net, you no longer need to purchase CORE licenses for managers and other reviewers of your CORE models. CORE2net installs automatically as a part of the CORE Enterprise installation. It is activated via CORE2net licenses that may be purchased from Vitech Corporation in 5-user packs.

The CORE2net web server is installed as part of the CORE Enterprise Server installation.
