CORE Workstation for System Development

CORE is the premier engineering software tool, supporting model-based systems engineering and systems development for complex systems. CORE Workstation combines requirements analysis, behavioral analysis, systems architecture, and verification and validation in support of the development of a system or business process modeling project. This fully functional, single-user version of CORE includes a self-contained database housed on your laptop computer. CORE permits databases or database changes to be exported, facilitating design sharing and synchronization with a master database. CORE information and models can be shared with others through XML export, HTML views, graphic images, printed documents and diagrams. Behavior models can be viewed in as many layers of abstraction as necessary to understand how the model performs. Reports are included and allow generation of all DoDAF 1.5 views. CORE Workstation can be enhanced by COREsim to provide a desktop systems engineering and simulation workbench. The simulator can be constrained to execute a single layer of a behavior model or it can navigate the entire logical decomposition to execute the integrated systems model.

Minimum Specifications for CORE Workstation Hardware and Operating System Configuration:

  • Operating System: Windows 98/NT/ME/2000/XP/Vista
  • CPU: 1 GHz processor or higher. The faster the CPU, the faster script and simulation (using COREsim) execution will be.
  • RAM: 256 MB RAM (Note: More may be required when accessing large amounts of data such as executing CORE scripts on large databases.)
  • Hard Drive: 100 MB free disk space; additional disk space required for project databases.
  • Screen Resolution: 800x600 pixels; 1024x768 pixels or greater recommended

CORE Workstation positions you to maximize your system development with CORE engineering software by adding an additional level of flexibility, integration and productivity.
