As a proponent of lifelong learning and education, Vitech Corporation offers a unique University Program to introduce faculty and students to model-based systems engineering through its CORE software offering - in classroom and research settings.
Vitech Corporation's University Program supports educational institutions which benefit from using CORE as a vehicle to promote model-based systems engineering. University professors, as well as undergraduate and graduate students utilize CORE's capabilities in such fields as systems engineering, engineering management, program management, and operations research.
University Program Benefits to Professors and Students
Since its inception, over 10 years ago, the Vitech University Program has served over 200 professors associated with more than 80 universities. CORE has been incorporated into courses with a wide range of engineering programs and provided opportunities for training and insight to new approaches as well as a tool for research and thesis work. Once you register, you can select from the following offerings:
CORE in the Classroom
This offering is designed for educators teaching undergraduate- and graduate-level courses in a classroom environment. We provide the most recent release of our University Edition of CORE, free of charge, for the instructor, teaching assistant(s), and all students to use throughout the semester or course. The software license is available for the duration of the course.
CORE for Research
A more substantial version of our commercial software, CORE for Research is designed for PhD and post-doctorate students who wish to use CORE and COREsim for their academic research. Upon program acceptance, students will receive the latest versions of CORE and COREsim, without any restrictions on project size. Licenses under the CORE for Research program are granted on an annual basis and are renewable.
