Installation, Licensing, and Data Migration =========================================== For detailed installation and licensing instructions, please refer to the "CORE 8 Installation Guide". This can be obtained from the Downloads section of our website at http://www.vitechcorp.com. Important Notes =============== A separately licensed component of the CORE Server, CORE2net provides a web server interface to your CORE system. Authorized team members can then access the system definition repository by simply logging into the project website using a web browser such as Internet Explorer, FireFox, Safari, or Chrome. CORE2net queries the current information contained in the CORE system definition repository allowing design changes and the current design state to be shared in real-time. Designed for consumers of the system engineering information, CORE2net enables inter- and intra-team collaboration at the enterprise level with the ability to set up appropriate access permissions; Engineers no longer need to be co-located; managers and other reviewers can access their data in familiar formats (tabular, graphical, and hyperlinked). CORE2net 8 can be installed on the same machine as the CORE Server or it can be installed on a separate machine. Once CORE2net has been configured and licensed, CORE2net is controlled by the CORE Server software. CORE2net runtime options can be changed through the CORE client software. CORE2net can also be started/stopped from within the CORE client software. For details, please refer to the online help documentation available within the CORE client. Uninstalling CORE2net 8 ======================= To remove CORE2net 8 from your system, select Add/Remove Programs from the Windows control panel. Select CORE2net 8 from the list of applications available to uninstall and click the Remove button. Follow the instructions provided by the installer to remove the application.
