University Program Details

Since its inception, over ten years ago, the Vitech University Program has served over two hundred professors associated with more than eighty universities. CORE has been incorporated into courses with a wide range of engineering programs and provided opportunities for training and insight to new approaches as well as a tool for research and thesis work. Once you register, you can select from the following offerings:

CORE in the Classroom

This offering is designed for educators teaching undergraduate and graduate level courses in a classroom. Based on our most recent release, CORE 5.1.5 this modified version of CORE, is provided free of charge for the instructor, teaching assistant(s) and all students to use throughout the semester or course. The software license is typically available for the duration of the course.

CORE for Research

A more substantial version of our commercial software, CORE for Research is designed for undergraduate and graduate students who wish to use CORE and COREsim for their thesis or doctoral dissertation. Upon program acceptance, students will receive the latest versions of CORE and COREsim, without any restrictions on project size. The license will be available to the professor and student (s) throughout the project's lifecycle.

Upon registration, you will be provided with a license number to use for your version of the software. At that point, you will need to:

• Download the software
• Request a key to activate CORE
